Five Methods for Removing Smells from Your Car

Got a smelly car cabin? That's okay; we've all been there and, to help you all out as much as we can, we here at Piazza Honda of Pottstown have a handful of methods you can try to remove those stinky smells from your vehicle. Take a look at our list of methods below and see which one works for you! We wish you all the best on your de-smelling adventures and we hope you have a great weekend.

  • A vacuum can suck up all the food scraps, dirt, and other detritus that might be smelling up your car
  • Sprinkle a handful of baking soda around the smelliest areas of your vehicle overnight to absorb the stench
  • A lump of charcoal, just like baking soda, can be left in the car overnight to remove some smells. Be sure you place it on a non-staining surface to protect your fabric from charcoal dust and smears
  • Some mint, a small container of coffee grounds, a cotton ball dipped in vanilla, and other natural air fresheners can replace a bad smell with a good one
  • If your car has the smell of gasoline while you're driving, that might mean you have a gas leak and we'd urge you to schedule a service appointment with our friendly technicians. They'll get back to you as soon as we can, get you in at a time that works for you, assess the issues, and fix them affordably and quickly.
